The Provo Ryder Cup 2025 delivered another fiercely won weekend of competition at Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club with the International Team lifting the trophy after securing a 20.5 to 15.5 victory over North America.

One of the main events of the year at the club, the Ryder Cup always brings out the best in every player. Led by Captain Chris Gornall with Assistant Captain Simon Dobbs, the International side showed grit and consistency throughout the matches. North America, captained by Rob Ayer with Kirk Stewart as his Assistant Captain, pushed hard from start to finish which kept the pressure high on both days.

The 36 hole team match play format created plenty of drama. Day one’s Four Ball matches set the stage with tightly contested pairings. Day two brought the decisive Singles Matches where momentum shifted repeatedly, and the pressure on the final competitors grew as crowds gathered around the closing holes to watch the last putts drop.

Teams were selected strictly by handicap index with the lowest 16 or 18 men and 4 or 6 ladies representing each side.

It was a standout weekend celebrating competitive spirit and community. Congratulations to the International Team on a well earned victory. A heartfelt thank you to all players and to our sponsor Turks and Caicos Sothebys International Realty whose support always helps make this event so special.
