Why David Feherty Chose Providenciales
David’s wife Anita fell in love with the Turks and Caicos on a visit in 2010, sure that Providenciales was somewhere the family could properly switch off together. She was right.
David’s first round here left a lasting impression: the quality of the course, the welcome in the clubhouse and a team who made him feel at home straight away. In 2015 he became our Course Ambassador, and he’s been flying the flag for Royal Turks & Caicos ever since.
FROM BANGOR TO THE BROADCAST BOOTH
A career in golf, on both sides of the rope
Born in Bangor, County Down, in 1958, David turned professional at 17 and spent nearly two decades on tour before swapping his clubs for a microphone. Golf Digest has called him golf's funniest man, and very few would argue.

Including the Italian Open and Scottish Open, with two top-ten Order of Merit finishes.

Represents Europe at Kiawah Island and wins his singles match.

Who is David Feherty?
David Feherty is a former European Tour winner and 1991 Ryder Cup player from Bangor, Northern Ireland, who became one of golf’s best-known TV commentators with CBS, NBC and Golf Channel. He has been the Course Ambassador for Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club in Providenciales since 2015.

When is the Feherty Twilight available?

Can I eat at the club before or after my round?
Yes. #19 Bar & Restaurant opens at 6.30am, with food served from 7.15am, so you can enjoy breakfast before your round or lunch afterwards.

No. Choose the $290 option and premium Titleist rental clubs are included, so you can travel light.
