TCI TENNIS ACADEMY

Located in the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands, Turks and Caicos Tennis Academy was founded in 2014 by Reinaldo (Rey) Garcia, an ITF Level 3 certified coach and former #1 ranked Columbian Junior tennis player, who brings with him a wealth of local and international tennis playing, coaching and administrative experience.

Rey has an academic background in Physical Education and Sports Training, alongside an expertise in biomechanics and experience of working alongside worldwide top coaches and players.  This has laid the platform from which he developed his own unique, science-based methodology, focused on maximising the potential of players of all ages and abilities. Rey’s contagious passion for all things tennis is expressed in his tendency to coach within a fun and inclusive environment.

TCI Tennis Academy offers its students the opportunity to train and learn with the best, while surrounded by stunning white sandy beaches and idyllic stretches of clear turquoise water. The Academy operates out of the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf and Country Club, only 5 minutes walk from Grace Bay beach and easily accessible to the surrounding suburbs and luxury resorts.

Children's Tennis Academy

*The Tennis Tournaments are targeted at juniors 8 or above.

*The Tennis Festival is targeted at juniors 7 and under.

The School Program offered by TCI Tennis Academy is the development program officially sanctioned by the ITF (International Tennis Federation). It uses modified courts, racquets and balls to keep activities fun and easy. The program is based on a 'learning through play' philosophy where children progress through stages (red, orange and green) to develop technically and tactically in an environment that is fun and exciting.

The 2020 Fall Programe will run for 10 weeks starting Monday 14th September.
