Wow, what an amazing day it was for Women’s Golf Day at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club! The weather was perfect, and we had a fantastic turnout. Here’s a recap of the day’s events:

We kicked off the festivities at 2:00 PM with a specialty mocktail/cocktail hour, courtesy of Vanessa from Wine Cellar. The Strawberry Lemongrass Grey Goose Mocktail/Cocktail was a hit, and we are grateful to Wine Cellar for their generous sponsorship. Due to morning golfers, there was a slight delay with some carts, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as they became available.

Participants had a lot of fun trying to win and exhibiting their putting skills during the Putting Challenge, aiming to be closest to the wine bottle. At 3:00 PM, the Par 3 Scramble on the Front Nine provided an exciting and brisk pace of play with holes ranging from 60 to 130 yards, set up by Ashley. This type of golf was a great way for our novice ladies, some who had never picked up a golf ball before, to feel quite at home and not under any pressure.

After the scramble, we enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Patrice and the staff of #19 Fairway Bar and Grill.
