International Women’s Golf Day 2023 was a resounding success at the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club on June 1. With a total of 60 enthusiastic participants, the event was filled with exciting activities that showcased the spirit of camaraderie and skill-building.
Organized by our lovely Pro Ashley Gravett, the afternoon started off with engaging events such as the team putting challenge, hit the wine bottle, and a 9 x 3 hole scramble. These activities provided a fun and competitive atmosphere for all the participants, allowing them to showcase their golfing abilities while enjoying themselves.
At 7:15, the event took a delightful turn as Venessa from The Wine Cellar joined us to craft specialty cocktails. As the ladies mingled and socialized, they took advantage of the fantastic opportunity to make new friends. The combination of golfing and socializing created a truly memorable experience for all involved.
One of the key aims of Women’s Golf Day is to encourage women to explore the various options available to them in their local communities, including local facilities, lessons, leagues, and other ways to get involved in golf.
