The Turks and Caicos
"Beautiful by Nature"

The Turks and Caicos consists of 40 different islands and cays, only 8 of which are inhabited. Royal Turks and Caicos is located on the island of Providenciales in the region known as Grace Bay.

A LITTLE HISTORY

Grand Turk is the capital island of the Turks and Caicos, its historical heartbeat and home to the Grand Turk Cruise Center. It was in Grand Turk that Christopher Columbus, reputedly, first made landfall on his initial voyage to the New World in 1492. Middle Caicos and North Caicos offer lush green woodlands and the biggest cave network in the Caribbean and South Caicos or “the big south”, boasts a thriving fishing industry.

Providenciales, or Provo as its locally known, covers an area of 38 miles and is the most developed island in Turks and Caicos. It is home to Grace Bay Beach, which has been ranked ``Best Beach in The Word`` by Conde' Nast Magazine and by the World Travel Awards for several years running. Some of the most luxurious hotels and villas are found in the Grace Bay area alongside numerous restaurants, shopping facilities, spas and activities.
